Pinnacles FC is Offering their Spring 2022 Soccer Program in Four Communities

If BC Soccer, ViaSport and the Provincial Health Authorities make changes to  Return to Play, 2022 programs may have to be adjusted to fit any new recommendations

Program schedules and locations may change based on Registration numbers. We will try our best to have a program in each age group in each of our communities.

Registration Opens December 20, 2021
**All players must have a completed registration on file to be able to participate in any PFC programs.
Programs that are cancelled due to COVID-19 will have fees prorated and deferred to next available program.

Spring Tots is an engaging and fun introduction to Soccer for players born 2018 & 2019. Each session is approximately 45 minutes in length, filled with enjoyable games and drills.

Spring Minis 2016 & 2017

Spring Minis is an engaging and fun introduction to Soccer for players born in 2016 & 2017. Players will have a practice and a game day each week. Each session is approximately 45 minutes in length, filled with enjoyable games and drills.

Minis are advised to wear cleats and shin guards and weather-appropriate clothing

Spring Youth 2013-2004 South Okanagan Youth Soccer League

Early Bird Dec 20-Jan 31 $175 Regular Feb 1-March 15 $200 after March 15 $300

 

Players will continue to develop their understanding of the principles of the game. They will participate in one training session and one game per week.

Each Youth team will have a volunteer coach and they will run training sessions with the support from our staff coaches

U9 & U10 play 6 v 6 and U11 + play 8 v 8

Youth players must wear cleats and shin guards and weather-appropriate clothing

Players registered in our Excelsior Academy attend District Excelsior Academy training sessions each week. Players then play in the South Okanagan Youth League. This program is designed to help our players achieve their soccer goals.
Training for this program starts in March indoors and is a 15-week program.

Spring District Excelsior Academy 2012-2004

These are select teams and registration will open once player selection has been finalized (March)

Pinnacles FC District Excelsior Academy provides a professional and optimal learning environment. Our players are selected to play in the District League, Thompson Okanagan Youth Soccer League (TOYSL). This is a competitive league, with age groups (U13+) playing to compete at Provincials in June.

The Spring District Excelsior Academy will look as follows:

Cost for District Excelsior Academy:

  • $515 for the program registration cost
  • $80 uniform deposit - to be returned (credit) at the end of the season once game jersey has been returned in good condition
  • $200 game day commitment fee - to be returned (credit) at the end of the season if all game commitments were met **Team Coach to determine the allowable reason for missing games
  • Total program fee: $795

 

  • Teams will play in the TOYSL league. Usually, one game every Sunday in the Thompson Okanagan Region from April-June (actual dates to be updated once confirmed from TOYSL) *Games may sometimes be played on Saturdays depending on the number of teams in the league
  • Training times will be twice a week, if a training session must be missed player is responsible for contacting the coach and letting them know of the absence
  • Each team is required to have a Team Manager
  • Preseason training begins March 1-17  this training is done at the Okanagan College gym and the Indoor Sportsplex, we are able to move outside to Kings Park once the City of Penticton opens the fields
  • Gameday jerseys will be loaned to players for the season and must be returned in good condition
  • Players will receive two pairs of Adidas shorts and socks and a Training jersey to be worn at all training sessions.

Players are expected to comply with the following:

  • Long hair must be tied back
  • Shin pads are mandatory
  • No jewelry (including earrings)
  • When representing Pinnacles FC; players, coaches, managers, and parents are expected to act in a respectful, professional and polite manner, speaking positively about the Club.

Participants must assess their own state of health before leaving home to attend programming. Players will be required to check in with the designated official upon arrival at all programming and verbally confirm that they are healthy and symptom free before participating.
